Fred Benjamin, LFACHE

Advisory Board Member

Fred serves as a member of the Birchwood Strategic Advisory Board. He has served as a senior executive and Board Member at Hospitals, Post-Acute Care, Insurance, and Managed Care Organizations. Currently, Fred serves as CEO of Achieve Care, LLC, a provider of Remote Patient Monitoring services. Previously, he served as Chief Operating Officer and President of Lexington Health Network.

Fred has served on many state and national Boards, including the American Health Care Association, the Kansas and Illinois Health Care Associations and was elected Chairman of State of Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board. He serves on the Joint Commission’s Skilled Nursing Advisory Council. He was elected to the Board of Directors of Sun-flower State Health Plan in Kansas, wholly owned by Centene, Corp. (CNC, NYSE).

He has received many honors and recognitions, including being selected as a Fellow of the Institute of Medicine of Chicago and a Life Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives (LFACHE). Mr. Benjamin earned his Master of Science (MS) degree in Health Education, and Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Chicago – Booth School of Business.
