Kristen Becht serves as Birchwood’s Director of Business & Legal Affairs.
Kristen directs the Risk Program, Corporate Administration and Insurance Supervision for Birchwood and its operations subsidiaries.
After a 20-year career in Business & Legal Affairs for high profile entertainment companies, such as Capitol Records, LucasArts Entertainment, and Harpo Productions, Kristen transitioned her talents to seniors healthcare to be in better alignment with her passion for helping seniors in living their best life.
Prior to Birchwood, she worked with senior living owner/operator, Pathway to Living developing their Enterprise Risk Management Program. Now she oversees Birchwood’s portfolio of entities, collaborates with insurance experts, and strategizes with outside counsel, all with the objective of controlling and minimizing loss for the protection of residents, staff, and company assets.
Kristen has her B.A. from California State University and has a Healthcare Risk Management certification from American Society of Healthcare Risk Managers.
