Ryan Bloom joined Birchwood in 2021 and is a Vice President. He is responsible for acquisitions and business development.
Ryan has experience in institutional real estate investment, PropTech startups, and business development. Prior to Birchwood, Ryan Bloom was an Associate at PGIM Real Estate. He was responsible for asset management of over $1.2B in assets and oversaw six third-party brokerage and property management teams across industrial, office, retail, life science, and multifamily assets. Ryan was also the partnership liaison for YouthBuild Lake County, helping low-income students explore career opportunities. Before PGIM Real Estate, Ryan was an Alternative Investments Tax Associate at KPMG, LLP, and he earned his CPA designation.
Ryan has a dual degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a member of The Harold E. Eisenberg Associate Board, JUF Young Real Estate Board, Event Co-Chair for the US Holocaust Museum Next Generation, and was previously the VP of Events for the Kellogg Real Estate Club. Ryan is also a graduate of The Second City Improv Program.
